Wrestling superstar, The Undertaker, has expressed deep respect for CM Punk, who ventured into the world of MMA.
Punk transitioned to the UFC in the last month of 2014, unfortunately recording a no-win record with one no contest, resulting from a bout against Mike Jackson that was negated due to the latter’s drug test failure.
The Undertaker shared his thoughts on Punk’s fleeting MMA stint during an episode of the “MightyCast” podcast, hosted by Demetrious Johnson. He commented,
“A part of Punk’s journey I profoundly respect is his boldness to try something new. He was an established name in the wrestling world, risking his primary source of income and prestige, only to confront defeat in the MMA ring.”
He added, “I greatly admire his courage to take the leap, pursuing his dreams despite the outcomes. Now that he has returned to the place that suits him best, it feels like everything is back in order.”
