Kevin Dunn may not have been every WWE Superstar’s favorite employee, but Booker T always appreciated having Dunn in his corner.
Last month, Dunn left WWE as the promotion’s Executive Producer & Chief, Global Television Distribution, ending his 40+ tenure with the promotion.
On a recent edition of his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T spoke about Dunn’s exit from WWE and appreciated all that he did for his career. He said,
“Kevin was always in my corner. I worked with that guy for many many years. He was always business, always stern about his business more than anything. He always ran the show very professional. Made everybody look good in so many different ways, from the vignettes and stuff that he produced over the years.
“I just want to say thank you to Kevin Dunn for all the years of excellence that I had chance to work with him. I only have one regret, almost 20 years ago, 2005, when I opened my wrestling school. Kevin Dunn and the crew came down to check it out and told me, ‘Booker, you get the thing big enough and we’ll buy it.’ Damnit! Damnit! [Laughs]. It’s big enough! I just want to thank Kevin Dunn for all the hard work.”
Booker T joined WWE in 2001 following the demise of WCW. He is a WWE Triple Crown Champion and captured the World Heavyweight Championship in 2006.
