At WWE Survivor Series, The New Day (WWE RAW) faced The Street Profits (WWE SmackDown) in a battle of WWE’s Tag Team Champions. Throughout the match, both duos showcased the chemistry that has made them the company’s top tag teams. The New Day’s edge in experience gave them the advantage early on.

Eventually, Dawkins tagged in and cleared house. Then, it was The Street Profits’ briefly turn to dominate. But the Midnight Hour nearly ended The New Day the win when Kofi Kingston took control again. The two teas kept going back and forth, and Montez Ford hit his signature Frog Splash on Kingston for a near fall.
