The Street Profits Debut New Theme Song (Listen), Jade Cargill Suffers First WWE Loss, More

In the latest WWE SmackDown episode, The Street Profits (comprising Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) made their debut as WWE Tag Team Champions, introducing a fresh theme song and deviating from their well-known “don’t just bring it, swag it out” mantra.

Ford reminisced about their four-year long quest to reacquire the championship titles, whereas Dawkins talked about overcoming doubts throughout the years and how their current championship run made the struggles worthwhile. Dawkins’ credibility was further emphasized by Ford. Their triumphant moment, however, was disturbed by Santos Escobar, Berto, and Angel, who audaciously claimed that Legado Del Fantasma was primed and ready to snatch the titles. Elton Prince & Kit Wilson from “Pretty Deadly” also made an appearance, reminding everyone about their status as the prime contenders.

Another fresh theme music was introduced by Zelina Vega in this week’s WWE SmackDown episode.

Ex-WWE Superstar Maven recently released a YouTube video reflecting on his past feud with Triple H in 2004.

After Survivor Series 2004, Maven had an opportunity to vie Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship title as part of a plotline where the victorious team gets to control WWE RAW for a month. Each team member would take turns, with Maven being the first one to act as General Manager. Despite this major opportunity, Maven expressed his dissatisfaction with his performance during the highly-anticipated title match against Triple H.

On sharing the ring for a main event match with Triple H: “The only expectation I had for this night was not to make him appear foolish. I aspired to match his intensity. I wished to appear like a rightful contender. He shouldn’t have had to orchestrate the whole match, it was simply a testament of me not being ready for the role I was given. Hence, it doesn’t surprise me that this was my last time in the main event. I was simply not ready.”

On having the privilege to collaborate with Triple H: “Hunter is proficient. He possesses a knack for smoothly transitioning between the character and himself. He is an easy one to conduct pre-tapes or promos with. I regret not having many opportunities to work closer with him during my stint.”

Unfortunately, Jade Cargill experienced her first pinfall defeat in the WWE on this week’s episode of SmackDown, where she competed against Liv Morgan in a singles contest.

Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton’s heated verbal exchange made headlines in the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. The Queens interrupting Tiffany’s reply to the initial question by proclaiming, “The Queen always speaks first,” garnered a lot of attention.

This coming weekend, fans are eagerly awaiting to witness Tiffany Stratton’s clash with Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41.
