Anticipation has been building for several months, and after significant delays on the part of WWE (as well as careful maneuvering from Logan Paul’s end in kayfabe), LA Knight is now set to compete for Logan Paul’s United States Championship at WWE SummerSlam. The much-anticipated event will happen on August 3, 2024, at the Cleveland Browns Stadium.
Born and bred in Westlake, Ohio, Paul might benefit from having a home field advantage, yet Knight is expected to be much-loved by the crowd as he sets his sight on his maiden WWE championship title. Remarkably, his only previous title is the Million Dollar Championship, which he held for a brief period in NXT.
The tension between both contenders was palpable in a fervid segment of the contract signing. SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, was in charge of the proceedings. Paul and Knight exchanged bitter words, with Paul drawing attention to Knight’s looks, likens him to a ‘hillbilly Aladdin,’ an ‘extra on Sons of Anarchy’ and ‘Larry the Lobster.’ Knight hit back directly at Paul’s pride, stating that in every face-off, he has dominated and outplayed him.
After being persuaded to sign the contract, Paul launched an attack at Knight. This resulted in a brief skirmish, where Knight almost landed the BFT on him, but was narrowly avoided.

As anticipation for the outcome builds, we ask who will emerge as the United States Champion? Does Knight have it in him to claim this glory, or will Paul manage to secure his reign for a tad bit longer? We would love to hear your predictions and opinions below in the comments.
