The Rock Praises Lance Storm As ‘One Of The Best Pure Athletes’ He’s Ever Worked With

Lance Storm is a long-time player in the game that is pro wrestling and he happened to leave a lasting impact on The Rock. A fan shared a photo of The People’s Champion electrifying a Philadelphia crowd from the early 2000s just as he was about to lay the smackdown on Storm. Lance corresponded with the fan jokingly stating “That damned Rock.” The Rock took notice of the photo as well and gave some high praise for one of wrestling’s Canadian treasures.
“We had some great matches, brother!!!” The Rock Tweeted. “One of the best pure athletes I’ve ever worked with.”
The Rock faced Storm several times during the WCW Invasion era of WWE which included singles matches and tag competition. Years back, Storm mentioned on Twitter how much fun The Rock was to work with and the Rock concurred on that notion.
