It was revealed throughout the Disney 2023 Annual Meeting of Shareholders Webcast today that Dwayne Johnson, likewise called The Rock, will become part of a live-action remake of “Moana.”
The task remains in advancement. The previous WWE Champion will bring Maui, the character he represented in the movie, to life.
His grandpa, Peter Maivia, influenced the Maui character. He published the following on Twitter:
