Wrestler Sami Zayn took to social media on Wednesday, specifically Twitter, to showcase a video snippet from his match with Bron Breakker on WWE’s RAW. Unfortunately, Zayn was unable to triumph over Breakker in a two-out-of-three-falls match for the coveted WWE Intercontinental Championship. He chose to describe his video with these words,
“Much of what I appreciate about the fine art of wrestling is represented in this brief clip: the uniqueness of each wrestler & the interactions, the very real risk of severe injury & the required expertise to barely evade it, the shared emotional reaction from countless spectators witnessing a single moment in time, all perceived uniquely by those in attendance. It’s nothing short of magnificent.
(Though it may sound odd to describe nearly losing my life in this way.)”
Meanwhile, the rivalry between Sheamus and Pete Dunne, alias Butch, is heightening. In a recent WWE NXT episode, Dunne expressed his displeasure at being dubbed “Butch” by Sheamus as a member of the Brawling Brutes group. Not one to take things lightly, Sheamus retaliated via Twitter on Wednesday with the words, “Just for the record, Pete… I called you a ‘b*tch’, you simply misunderstood me.”
