In a recent appearance on the “Inside the Ropes” podcast ahead of WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins weighed in on CM Punk’s return to WWE and how the Second City Saint needs to rebuild the bridges he burned down in the company.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On CM Punk thinking he’d figure into the WrestleMania plans: I think CM Punk thought CM Punk was going to be in those plans once upon a time. As you may have seen during our brief interaction, I never thought that was going to happen. I’ll give him a little bit of credit, he gave it the old college try. But, fragile body, fell apart. We will see if he can stitch himself back together and make another go at it.”

On CM Punk needing to rebuild bridges: “He’s got a lot of bridges to rebuild, and clearly he is aware of that, and clearly he is making an effort to rebuild those bridges. Now, whether he will burn them all to the ground again, who knows? But he’s on his own track.”

Punk is currently on the injury shelf after suffering a torn triceps last month at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. The injury is expected to keep him out for most of this year.

In a recent interview on the “Inside the Ropes” podcast, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins shared his thoughts on CM Punk’s potential return to WWE and the need for him to rebuild the bridges he burned down in the company. Rollins also discussed Punk’s aspirations for WrestleMania and his current injury.

Rollins acknowledged that CM Punk may have believed he would be included in WrestleMania plans at some point. However, Rollins himself never saw that happening. He credited Punk for giving it a try but mentioned that his fragile body eventually fell apart. Rollins expressed curiosity about whether Punk can recover and make another attempt at a wrestling career.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion emphasized that CM Punk has a lot of bridges to rebuild within the company. It seems that Punk is aware of this and is making an effort to mend those relationships. However, Rollins also mentioned the possibility of Punk burning those bridges again in the future, as he is on his own path.

Currently, CM Punk is sidelined due to a torn triceps injury he sustained during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. This injury is expected to keep him out of action for a significant portion of this year.

The interview with Seth Rollins provides insight into the ongoing speculation surrounding CM Punk’s potential return to WWE. While Rollins acknowledges Punk’s efforts to rebuild bridges, he also highlights the challenges Punk may face in regaining trust within the company.

It remains to be seen whether CM Punk will be able to overcome these obstacles and make a successful comeback. Wrestling fans will undoubtedly be eagerly awaiting updates on his recovery and future plans.
