The Reason For Fuego Del Sol’s AEW Release, AEW Grand Slam III Date Set

The date for AEW Grand Slam III in New York City is reportedly set.

Earlier this year, AEW President Tony Khan revealed that the company would be returning to Arthur Ashe Stadium in September. According to a report from Pwinsider, several sources from the venue have confirmed that a date in late September has been booked for the show.

As we reported yesterday here on eWn, Fuego Del Sol announced that he will be departing All Elite Wrestling on July 1st. For those wondering why he was released, AEW is simply choosing not to renew his contract.
