The Ratings Breakdown For AEW Collision & Dynamite (12/8, 16/8)

Last Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision jumped in viewership and ratings from the weekend before with 476,000 viewers, a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 key demo, and an 0.11 rating in the 18-34 demo.

Meanwhile, AEW Dynamite rose in viewership, drawing 874,000 viewers, while also going up in 18-49 with 0.32 in 18-49 (412,000 viewers). Dynamite had a 0.22 rating in 18-34.

AEW Collision faced stiff competition from the NFL preseason, which also hurt UFC that night.

AEW Collision was #11 for the night and #3 in its time slot behind NFL and UFC (821,000/0.29), down from 0.38 last week with no football competition. Collision had 52,000 in men 18-34 (down 1.9%), 23,000 in women 18-34 (down 17.9%), 112,000 in men 35-49 (up 23.1%) and 36,000 in women 35-49 (up 80%). The audience was 74.9% male.

AEW Dynamite was #1 on Wednesday night, ahead of the Little League World Series on ESPN (1,184,000/0.24). The show beat every network except CBS, which had Big Brother (0.62) in hour one. Dynamite’s biggest increase was with women, which was up 29.6%.

Compared to last week, Dynamite was up 3.3% in viewers, up 10.5% in 18-49, and up 2.6% in 18-34. Compared to last year, the show was down 8.7% in viewers, up 7% in 18-49, and up 24% in 18-34. It had 82,000 in men 18-34 (down 13.7%), 73,000 in women 18-34 (up 30.4%), 181,000 in men 35-49 (up 4.6%), and 76,000 in women 35-49 (up 28.8%). The audience was 63.8% male.
