“The Queen of Harts” Natalya has her sights set on some bling.

With the first WWE Queen of the Ring reportedly set to begin this October, fans are already looking ahead to the competition and wondering which WWE Superstars could participate in the tournament. Among other names, Natalya stands out because she’s a veteran and she is currently one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

In an interview with Rick Ucchino of Sportskeeda, Natalya hinted that it’d be fitting for “The Queen of Harts” to compete for the crown.

“Well coming from ‘The Queen of Harts’, the original ‘Queen of Harts’, my grandmother Helen was the first ‘Queen of Harts’ in the Hart family. but of course I’m carrying the torch,” said Natalya. “But that would be really cool. I mean any time the women get an opportunity in WWE to do something awesome, whether it’s Evolution, whether it’s the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble, the first-ever women’s TLC match or ladder match or tables match, it is so cool to see new opportunities for women.

“And of course, everybody wants to see the women in WWE compete, and we’re not against having a little bit more bling. So if there’s a crown involved…I’m there for it.”

October is still a few months away, but in just a few weeks, WWE will present its biggest party of the summer with SummerSlam. As a champion, Natalya is expected to have a match on the card, and in the interview, she expressed her willingness to face SmackDown newcomers Shotzi [Blackheart] and [Tegan] Nox, who recently defeated the champions in a non-title match.

“If I was gonna have a match at SummerSlam with the Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line, you know, we’ve got some new blood,” said Natalya. “We’ve got Tegan [Nox] and Shotzi [Blackheart] here. And to me, it’s like everything that I’ve ever stood for in WWE is about not only honoring my past, but also moving forward to the future. So if those women would like to challenge us, there’s certainly nothing wrong with us kicking their ass in Vegas, and I look forward to doing that.

“So if Tegan and Shotzi wanna step into our ring, Tamina Snuka and I would be happy to oblige.”
