The former Titan Towers headquarters of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is now available for purchase. The landmark structure, established in 1981 and operating as WWE’s head office from 1985 until recently, has been put on the open market. The exact selling price remains undisclosed, falling under the vague term of “subject to offer.”
Located at 1241 E. Main St., the edifice was evaluated at a hefty million last year. The shift of WWE into their current headquarters was officially announced in April of this year.
There is a potential that the historic site could undergo redevelopment, confirmed by Newmark’s property listing which mentions: “permitted uses encompass residential multifamily, research and development, educational institutions, fitness clubs, etc.”
The article further notes a perceptible decrease in demand for office spaces outside the downtown region in Stamford.
