The Pinnacle Defeats The Inner Circle Thanks To Tully Blanchard

The Inner Circle and the Pinnacle faced off at tonight’s AEW Road Rager in a star-studded tag team match between two of the biggest groups in All Elite Wrestling. In a trios match, Jake Hager, Santana and Ortiz faced Wardlow and FTR. Unfortunately for The Inner Circle, The Pinnacle came out on top thanks to some key assistance from Tully Blanchard.
During the bout, both teams looked about as evenly matched as possible, with the trios trading blows back and forth for the early portion of the contest. As the match continued, though, The Inner Circle began to gain some momentum, with Ortiz dropping Dax Harwood with a solid Brainbuster.

After Hager tagged in, it looked like The Pinnacle was finished, but Blanchard stepped in to tip the scales.
At the end of the match, Hager hit a massive boot on Harwood, but Wardlow tagged in and began brawling with the powerhouse. FTR then dropped Hager with a Big Rig.

While Blanchard distracted some of the other competitors and the referee, Wardlow slammed Hager for the victory.
