The wrestling world experienced a shake-up over the past weekend as OTT Wrestling crowned two new World Champions. This took place just before the promotional event marking the tenth anniversary in October.
During the OTT ScrapperMania VIII event, the OTT World Championship title was snatched by B Cool. He defeated Trent Seven, causing quite a celebration among the vault.
“And new!! OTT Champion @Barry_Nasty @trentseven never, ever put your hands on @foxniall23,” – Twitter post by Irish Wrestling & Entertainment, August 10, 2024.
Unfortunately, at the OTT Aftermath in Belfast which took place on the succeeding Sunday, an announcement was made regarding B Cool’s health. He was suffering from an injury and had no choice but to relinquish his newly won title.
In a thrilling triple-threat match, featuring Trent Seven, Man Like Dereiss, and Big Damo, Big Damo emerged victorious. This victory marks his first tenure as the OTT World Champion.
The newly crowned champion, Damo, plans to hold onto his title at the upcoming tenth-anniversary event in October. The event will include notable wrestling figures such as WWE’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.
