The NXT Heritage Cup Champion title now belongs to Tony D’Angelo following his victory on this week’s edition of WWE NXT.
In the fifth round of the main event match, D’Angelo managed to overcome Charlie Dempsey and secure the cup.
Despite a challenge from the No Quarter Catch Crew, D’Angelo was able to pin Dempsey using the Fuhgetaboutit.
This victory represents D’Angelo’s first individual championship in WWE. The stint of Dempsey as the champion concludes after 76 days.
