Fightful Select recently reported on the free agency status of professional wrestlers Donovan Dijak and Ricochet.
Ricochet is now a free agent, his contract with WWE having ended on July 1.
The report suggests that, at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024, which occurred on June 30, there were no internal discussions within AEW about incorporating Dijak or Ricochet.
Importantly, Dijak was present during Sunday’s pay-per-view occasion and was supposedly backstage at the UBS Arena in Long Island, NY, with his WWE agreement ending on June 28.
Although AEW extended an invitation to Dijak to come to the event, there were no talks of involving Ricochet as his WWE contract was still in effect.
Speculations are flying around suggesting that Ricochet might be in the process of sealing a deal with AEW.
