The New Day, comprised of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, displayed their disappointment with the audience’s reactions during Monday Night RAW. Opting to vacate the ring as opposed to explaining their decisions of the past week, their actions received negative responses from the crowd.
The pair walked into the ring during RAW to discuss their recently made choice to betray their team member Big E, their explanation however, was hindered by a hostile audience that continuously interrupted them with booing and chants of “New Day Sucks” and “We Want Big E.” Amidst the jeers, Kingston threatened that they could have ambushed E. with a chair or a sledgehammer, but decided to exit the ring instead.

Drew McIntyre, the “Scottish Psychopath”, gave an explanation for his surprise attack on Sami Zayn during this week’s episode of WWE RAW. In a backstage interview, he discussed his hiatus following a loss to CM Punk at Hell In A Cell 2024 as his family needed him.
McIntyre gave an account of watching the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series 2024 from the side-lines, where he saw CM Punk victorious with Roman Reigns, Zayn, and The Usos. He commented that at least Punk had been bribed by Paul Heyman, while the rest had sold out for no compensation. Acknowledging this, he declared his intention to come back and overthrow both Zayn and Jey Uso. His aim might not be to change the past, but to build a different future.
Later in RAW, Zayn delivered a speech with Seth Rollins, attempting to mediate between Rollins and Punk. Once Zayn finished speaking, and recognized the issue was Rollins’, McIntyre ambushed him on the stage.
