In the initial segment of the latest episode of WWE RAW, a heated confrontation between CM Punk and Seth Rollins swiftly escalated into a brawl.
Punk started off by addressing the audience, sharing his road to WrestleMania, and hinting at possible participation in forthcoming events like the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber. He also referred to Paul Heyman’s support, suggesting possibilities of new opportunities.
Rollins interjected, reflecting on his approach towards Punk initially on his WWE arrival. While he was engaged with defending titles, he observed that Punk was on a break due to injuries. Now that Punk had risen victorious at Survivor Series, Rollins believed it was high time to resolve their unsettled scores.
Punk, on the other hand, rebuffed Rollins, implying he had lost interest after Rollins no longer held a title. He warned Rollins to steer clear from his matters. However, Rollins, feeling disregarded, retaliated by ambushing Punk, triggering a scuffle. The disorder was finally dispersed by Sami Zayn and Jey Uso who rushed to the ring to break up the fighters.
This episode primes for a likely feud between the pair, with both Punk and Rollins evidently having unresolved issues.

Additionally, in this week’s WWE RAW episode, The New Day’s revelry threw a curveball when Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned their backs on Big E. The episode began with Woods and Kingston cheering, but the atmosphere shifted when Big E appeared, expressing his anguish over seeing his former companions in conflict. He reminded them that they had always been there for each other, specifically during his injury phase.
However, Kingston and Woods voiced their dissatisfaction with E’s extended absence. Kingston reproached Big E for not making a prompt comeback post his injury, aligning him with the likes of Steve Austin, Edge, and Kurt Angle–wrestlers who had bounced back earlier from neck injuries. Woods chimed in, stating that unlike Big E, he had recuperated from an Achilles injury in nine months to assist Big E, who had not reciprocated.
The tension soared as Woods blamed Big E for not missing them, going as far as to ridicule him for hinting a comeback amidst doubts regarding his clearance. He then instructed Big E to step off the ring and head to a desk, implying that E.’s time in the ring was over. As E. attempted to reach out to Kingston, his gesture was rejected, ending the segment with a clear sign from Woods and Kingston that they were moving forward without Big E.
