Speaking on becoming a father, Rhodes explained, “If I were to pinpoint one pivotal moment, it would unequivocally be the birth of my daughter. The wrestling business is notoriously ruthless, filled with backstabbing and politicking. Before her birth, I had no qualms about crossing lines. I was ready to slug it out if needed. However, her birth was a game-changer. I found myself not wanting to even utter an expletive.”
Rhodes elaborated on the profound impact his daughter has on him, saying, “If I merely ensure her well-being, I can achieve perfection as a father. I’ve probably already stumbled a billion times in this pursuit as being a father is inherently challenging. You can never predict the unique obstacles that parenthood throws your way. Reading all the parenting books in the world wouldn’t prepare you sufficiently because every challenge is unique and specific. But her birth changed everything. She became the motivation behind my wrestling career.”
