The last appearance of Brock Lesnar in WWE took place at SummerSlam 2023, where he faced a defeat from Cody Rhodes.

Presently, there are uncertainties surrounding Lesnar’s future with the organization. The WWE has taken steps to distance itself from the renowned Beast Incarnate in the wake of a sex trafficking lawsuit that was filed against John Laurinaitis, Vince McMahon, and WWE itself by Janel Grant. In this lawsuit, references to Lesnar were also made.

The WWE subsequently excluded Lesnar from its event plans for future engagements like the 2024 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber: France, and WrestleMania 40. Reports claim that the WWE’s legal team had not giVEN clearance for Lesnar’s return, intimating that any comeback would be reliant on the resolution of the existing legal concerns.

Dave Meltzer, on the latest installment of the Wrestling Observer Radio, shared his insights on Triple H’s recent observations regarding Brock Lesnar.

Meltzer suggested that the WWE’s legal counsel advised the organization to keep a safe distance from The Beast owing to his connection to the litigation. Meltzer quoted saying,

“Assuming Brock decides to ring up and says ‘I’d like to make a comeback for this year’s WrestleMania,’ I am aware that the legal team recommended against any engagement with Brock at this moment.”

DesPITE Lesnar not being directly implicated in Grant’s lawsuit, The Wall Street Journal later confirmed that the celebrated WWE/UFC competitor was indeed the person alluded to in the legal action.

The possibility of Lesnar’s return to WWE in future remains a matter of speculation.
