Daniel Garcia, a known face in the AEW universe, has been missing from the scenes since early this month. This absence came in the wake of MJF’s controversial attack during Dynamite, where Garcia turning heel was seen by the audience, subsequent to his bout with Will Ospreay where he lost the AEW International Championship.
As per the reports we gathered here at eWn, the decision to write off Garcia from broadcasts was made precautionarily by AEW in case he opts not to renew his contract and leaves the show.
According to the information from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Garcia’s signing again with AEW is quite anticipated, with the potential of a feud with MJF on his comeback.
In 2021, WWE had also shown keen interest in bringing Garcia on board, but he ended up joining AEW. Current speculations suggest that Garcia is likely to stick with AEW, where a more rewarding deal is expected.
Intriguingly, WWE seems to be interested in signing a deal with Garcia once again.
