All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has had a robust alliance with Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), and currently, the two entities are involved in contract renewal discussions.

Information about the speculated new broadcasting rights agreement between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery has been revealed by Fightful Select.

The report suggests that, even though a fresh broadcasting contract between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery is expected, it still hasn’t been officially confirmed. Some earlier reports hinted at an around-the-corner agreement, while others indicated a tentative deal.

However, insiders from Warner Bros. Discovery have stated that presently, there’s nothing certain between AEW and the broadcasting titan, hinting that no breakthrough is likely in the immediate future.

No plans to announce a new TV deal prevails in both firms, and neither party has settled on any structural blueprint. According to reports, AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery are hopeful about reaching a fresh agreement, and their relationship remains cordial.

President of AEW, Tony Khan, is slated to hold discussions with Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav in Paris, France during the period of the Olympics. The meeting has been in the pipeline for an extended period. Even though the new broadcast agreement is on their discussion agenda, the culmination of their meeting into a concrete deal isn’t guaranteed.

From other sources comes the information that while AEW’s broadcast rights have had a bid, the agreement has still not been put into effect as of July 23.

Likewise, an offer from Warner Bros. Discovery was presented to AEW a few months back, but it hasn’t been consented to, leading to continual negotiations.

The private negotiation window between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery that had been put into effect was scheduled to lapse this month.
