The Miz has once again embraced his inner villain, making a long-awaited heel transformation by betraying R-Truth during the recent WWE Monday Night Raw episode.
The tag-team, known as Awesome Truth, experienced months of difficulty after being stripped of the World Tag Team Championship titles by The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh during the June 24th episode of Raw. They’ve also been the target of Big Bronson Reed’s brutal tsunami splashes, which led to R-Truth needing to take a break for a few weeks.
During the intermission, The Miz seemingly lost his way—a change that didn’t go unnoticed by Karrion Kross who took advantage of the situation.
Quite evidently, Kross was successful in manipulating The Miz. In a shocking turn of events, during their tag team match, The Miz unexpectedly attacked his buddy with a swift kick to the head right after being tagged in. Following the surprising attack, The Miz made his exit.
