Pwinsider has revealed some behind-the-scenes insights from the most recent WWE NXT episode, held at St. Louis, MO.
The ongoing Hurricane Milton situation has led to an impromptu change in plans, with the WWE NXT fighters and staff staying in St. Louis until Friday morning; travel to Florida is currently prohibited due to the harsh weather conditions. This situation also applies to Matt Bloom.
As for the main roster talents that were not heading towards Florida, they have all reached their respective homes.
CM Punk was spotted backstage at last night’s show, offering much-needed advice and mentorship. He joined the NXT talent group on a bus to the show and left the same way.
The dark match last night was between Wendy Choo and Sol Ruca.
Fightful Select has also revealed the list of producers and some insider information from the recent WWE NXT episode.
The segment featuring Trick Williams & Jey Uso was produced by Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom. They also took care of the segment that involved Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Giulia, and Stephanie Vaquer. Bloom also produced the performance of Sexxy Red with Neil Lawi.
The wrestling match between Kelani Jordan, Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair versus Fatal Influence was guided under the production of Johnny Moss.
Fit Finlay was the producer for the Tony D’Angelo vs. Oba Femi wrestling match.
Steve Corino produced the match where Fraxiom faced A-Town Down Under.
The Randy Orton vs. Je’Von Evans match was under the control of Terry Taylor. Before the show, Evans and Orton practised their planned RKO “extensively”. Following the botched move, there is no resentment against Evans.
Despite interruptions caused by Hurricane Milton, the show was conducted as scheduled. However, unease about the next event scheduled at the Performance Center is surfacing due to unforeseen circumstances.
Plans for a villain reunion with Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez were in the works for quite some time before Jade’s ACL injury. Reportedly, NXT officials were “extremely pleased” with Stephanie Vaquer’s first-time appearance.
Conclusively, Delta vignettes will continue to be part of the NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 program.
