The forthcoming court litigation involving WWE Hall of Fame member Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, previously scheduled for October 2024, has been pushed back to March 2025.

The court proceedings stem from a claim lodged by the estate of Julian Lasseter, a victim of a fatal traffic incident in March 2022, in which Sytch was involved as well.

The decision to delay the court proceeding was finalised in a recent hearing at the Seventh Judicial Circuit’s Circuit Court, located in Volusia County, Florida.

The lawsuit, which is asking for damages more than ,000, details the unfortunate series of events leading to the fatal crash:

On the date of March 25, 2022, allegations point to Tammy Sytch being intoxicated while operating her vehicle in a southward direction on N. Yonge Street, close to the junction of W. Granada Boulevard, situated in Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida.

Simultaneously, Julian L. Lasseter was making his way southbound on N. Yonge Street at the same crossroad.

The claim posits that Sytch operated her vehicle in a negligent manner which led to a collision with the back end of Lasseter’s automobile. The resulting impact inflicted severe and disabling injuries on Lasseter, subsequently claiming his life on the same day.

The adjustment in the trial timetable allows the involved parties to have additional time for preparation, however, it also prolongs the resolution of the lamentable incident.

As of now, Sytch is serving a 17-year prison term due to legal charges associated with the accident.
