The final episode of WWE NXT graced the USA Network on Tuesday evening. After the conclusion of the show, famed wrestlers Natalya and Karrion Kross shared their reflections and experiences on their Twitter profiles.
Karrion Kross, expressing gratitude, tweeted:
“Some of the greatest memories of my career. Thank you so much @WWENXT , @USANetwork and to every single person who ever showed up or tuned in that brought us to life for you. 🙏🏼”
In a subsequent tweet, he humorously alluded to an on-set incident writing:
“In my defense, I had a lot of caffeine that day and Scarlett was working on a new spell. The fire was supposed to be smaller just to scare him. Accidentally almost blew his face off.”
Natalya too voiced her love and respect for the brand in a tweet saying:
“Some of my greatest memories in wrestling were at @WWENXT. It’s a magical place for a wrestler to perform and truly feel like a star. So much love for this brand always…and so much love for our @USANetwork family. Excited to see NXT continue to shine on @TheCW🖤💛”
In other news related to WWE, the company has initiated actions to contest TNA’s claim to Santino Marella’s trademark registration. Earlier this week, the organization lodged a request for a 90-day extension to oppose the trademark application submitted by Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions. WWE had originally fashioned the character Marella, who later migrated to TNA Wrestling upon the expiration of the original trademark. Presently, Marella plays the character of the company’s Director of Authority.
