Prominent tag team, The Young Bucks will be noticeably absent from AEW for a period, having decided to pause their participation with the promotion.
During the recent AEW Fright Night Dynamite event, The Young Bucks were dethroned by Private Party, who secured their AEW Tag Team Titles, ensuring they would continue as a tight-knit twosome.
Post the event, reports emerged that Nicholas Jackson had been grappling with a shoulder injury, which had been plaguing him for some time now.
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there isn’t a definite timeline for his comeback. Neither Nicholas Jackson nor Matthew Jackson are expected to participate in the forthcoming AEW Full Gear 2024 event this month.
The newsletter stated, “There is no set timetable for a return past it’ll be for a while, and they aren’t scheduled for the Full Gear show. It’ll be no longer than January since they are confirmed for the joint AEW & NJPW show at the Tokyo on 1/5.”
The Wrestle Dynasty 2025, a premium pay-per-view event, is slated for January 5 at the iconic Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. This event is co-sponsored by AEW, NJPW, ROH, and CMLL.
