WOW – Women Of Wrestling will be holding their next set of TV tapings on August 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 17th, 18th, and 19th in Los Angeles, CA.

In other WOW – Women Of Wrestling news, several of its talents as well as Jeannie Buss will be appearing at the Headlocked booth at the San Diego Comic-Con.

WOW – WOMEN OF WRESTLING OWNER JEANIE BUSS AND WOW SUPERHEROES RETURN TO COMIC-CON INTERNATIONAL: SAN DIEGO 2023

Headlocked Comics Will Host Buss and WOW Superheroes Kandi Krush and Genesis for a Fan Autograph Signing at Their Booth on Saturday, July 22

Los Angeles – July 17, 2023 – WOW – Women Of Wrestling returns to Comic-Con International: San Diego 2023 for an exclusive meet and greet with iconic sports executive and WOW owner Jeanie Buss along with two WOW Superheroes – Kandi Krush and Genesis. Buss, Krush and Genesis will be in attendance for a fan autograph signing on Saturday, July 22 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm PST at the Headlocked Comics booth #1901.

Featuring compelling backstories on its WOW Superheroes and elite athleticism, the current season of WOW – Women Of Wrestling is airing in weekend syndication, on Pluto TV’s Fight Channel and on VICE TV. Owned by Buss and David McLane, the world’s premier all-female sports entertainment property will return this fall for its second season of action distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

This week’s episode of Dark Side of the Ring will focus on Abdullah the Butcher. The episode airs Tuesday night on VICE TV and is described as follows:

Infamous for his in-ring bloodbaths, Abdullah the Butcher was a money-making phenomenon. But after fifty years of pushing boundaries, one cut cost him everything.

TMart Promotions quickly moved to retain a number of the scheduled talent for The Gathering IV after one of the venders repping the talent pulled out. Pwinsider is reporting that a vendor representing 18 scheduled talent backed out of the August convention and canceled the 18 guests’s appearance. TMart immediately began to reach out to offer the scheduled talent and offered them free vendor space if they wanted to remain.

Among those who agreed to stay were Frank Dusek, Missy Hyatt, Beastmaster Rick Link of Memphis Wrestling fame, Kevin Sullivan, Andrew Anderson, Princess Victoria, Gary Royal, Judy Martin, Leilani Kai and The Original Midnight Express. Joyce Grable, Bushwacker Luke Williams, Wild Bill Irwin and Greg Valentine will all no longer be appearing.

The updated schedule for the August 4th weekend event in Charlotte, North Carolina is below:

* August 4th at 1 PM: Greg Gagne, Jim Brunzell, Brian Blair, Steve Keirn, Gerald Brisco, Larry Zbyszko, Bob Roop and Denny Brown
* August 5th at 1 PM: JJ Dillon, The Barbarian, Manny Fernandez, Denny Brown, Big Mama, Ray Apollo (The final WWF Doink the Clown), The Rock N’ Roll Express, Tim Horner, Tommy Rich.
* August 6th at 11 AM: Kurt Angle, The Headbangers, Maven, Gangrel, The Godfather, Ahmed Johnson, Terri Runnels

In addition, the convention will honor Bill Dundee will be honored at the banquet dinner on August 4th by Bobby Fulton alongside Tommy Rich (by Ricky Morton), Verne and Greg Gagne, The Killer Bee (by Steve Keirn), and the late Brian Pillman (by Terri Runnels) with Brian Pillman Jr. accepting.
