WWE fans may be disappointed to hear that CM Punk will not be appearing during the WWE’s European tour dates in Glasgow (on March 24) and in London (March 31). It seems WWE has chosen to pull him from the promotional listings for these particular events.
Although Punk had initially been listed on the roster for these dates, his participation was never formally announced. On a brighter note, fans can still catch Punk’s appearances at a number of European shows, such as those in places like Brussels, Bologna, Belfast, Nottingham, London, Vienna, and Amsterdam. The tour is set to play out from March 14th through to the end of March, leading up to the highly anticipated WrestleMania 41 in April, where the current indications are that Punk will engage in a triple threat match with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns.
In other professional wrestling news, the Guinness World Records has earmarked John Cena for shattering a fresh record.
Having previously been recognized for fulfilling the most wishes through his involvement with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Cena has added to his laurels with the new record for the longest tenure as a “face” in WWE without once becoming a “heel.” His unexpected heel turn in the WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, which saw him turn on Cody Rhodes and join forces with The Rock, was the event that led to this formal acknowledgment.
For the last two decades, Cena has reigned as the undisputed premier babyface, even in the face of fans clamoring for him to turn heel. Wrestling great Triple H observed that Cena seems to be pushing his own boundaries as he begins to wind down his career this year. Nonetheless, even after his dramatic heel turn, Cena keeps posting uplifting quotes to his fans on his social media.
