The Latest Injury Update On Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone endured an unfortunate injury during her match against Willow Nightingale at NJPW Resurgence, resulting in a slip off the top rope and a broken ankle. Nightingale emerged victorious and won the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, despite Mone originally being slated to win the bout.

Following the injury, Mone underwent surgery and is currently in recovery. The injury disrupted her participation in the Forbidden Door PPV for AEW and NJPW, despite her earlier signing of a long-term deal with NJPW. Once she has fully healed, Mone is expected to challenge Giulia for the NJPW Strong Women’s Title.

While Mone’s return timeline and status remain undisclosed, sources have reported that she was recently seen using crutches backstage at the Impact Wrestling Slammiversary PPV.
