The Immortals – a tag team consisting of Kratos and Odinson – have been signed to exclusive contracts with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). This news came directly from the NWA’s headquarters.
The NWA made the official statement as follows:
National Wrestling Alliance Opens its Doors to The Immortals, Kratos and Odinson
The NWA, famous for its head-turning tag team division, swells its roster with the addition of Kratos and Odinson, famously known as The Immortals, with contracts signed exclusively with NWA.
Being some of the fiercest competitors in professional wrestling, Odinson and Kratos are an unbeatable duo in NWA. At the moment of their signing, The Immortals held the title as one-time NWA US tag team champions, challengers to the World Tag Team titles, and favorites in the 2024 Crockett Cup Tournament.
Joe Galli, NWA’s Chief Operating Officer, spoke about the significant advantage it is for the NWA to have The Immortals on board long-term. He added, “Both Odinson and Kratos are strong contenders for the NWA World Tag Team championships and pose a formidable threat to any title in the National Wrestling Alliance.”
Kratos arrived at the NWA in 2020 as Aron Stevens’ unexpected tag partner, securing the NWA World Tag Team titles in his premiere. Odinson, who has been with NWA much longer, consistently competes for both tag team and singles titles. After their successful partnership at the 2023 Crockett Cup, the duo frequently tours Japan.
The Immortals join the growing list of talents who have signed exclusive NWA contracts. This comes as NWA secures multiple champions and leading stars to long-term contracts, as they look ahead to NWA 76, an annual celebration of its 1948 establishment.
With their contracts, The Immortals will continue their regular performances on Tuesdays on NWA Powerrr, the company’s flagship program aired on The CW. Furthermore, it suggests that they will appear at the NWA’s anniversary spectacular, set for August 31 at the iconic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.
All NWA titles will be defended at NWA 76, the biggest live event in the company’s calendar. Tickets are currently on sale.
