Sean “X-Pac” Waltman appeared recently on the “No-Contest Wrestling” podcast and reminisced about an occasion where Sami Zayn almost took his head off with a Helluva kick. He described,
“I’ve dealt with guys who would continuously bash my skull through. That used to garner a huge response and I was hooked on that damn response. Sami Zayn came close to taking my skull off with the Helluva kick. I wouldn’t have mentioned it, but he did. He spoke about it in an interview saying ‘I knocked him out with it.’ It was as if I was a Rock Em Sock Em Robot. I kept quiet because I’ve roughed up some blokes too. It’s part of the process. For me, it is. Some fellows say, ‘That’s not the nature of wrestling.’ I understand that too, but I appreciate realism in my stuff and I prefer it when someone lands a hit on me for it to appear realistic. I’m okay with it.”
Grayson Waller, in a recent tweet, gave hints about his plans for WWE WrestleMania 41.
The WWE star mentioned his recent visit to Allegiant Stadium and admitted that he’s unsure about his current position in WWE, but he has vowed to shake things up.
Last year, Waller was part of the tag team that clinched the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship, yet he currently seems to not be in the title picture. He stated,
“Just as I’m leaving Vegas, off to one of the least favorable places in America, Buffalo. It’s freezing cold and I’m rather reluctant, but I had an amazing weekend, met some buddies at Allegiant Stadium, the venue of WrestleMania 41. It made me think about last year’s WrestleMania. The best night of my life, being A-Town Down Under, atop of the ladder, taking home the tag team championship. I admit, I became slightly addicted to such feelings. So, looking at the upcoming WrestleMania 41 scenario, where does Grayson Waller fit into the scheme of things? Honestly, I can’t tell. That hits home. I could probably behave like some failed WWE wrestlers, complain online, or even turn to the ‘journalists’ to lament about no opportunities coming my way. Or I can take the matter into my own hands. I think I’m going to act on it [laughs].”
Over the weekend, Cassie Lee returned to the ring at a SMASH Pro Wrestling event, where she competed against Alexia Nicole.
Lee challenged the SMASH Women’s Champion Jody Threat for an April showdown, with Jessie McKay expected to accompany her.
Lee took to Twitter to convey her gratitude to SMASH Pro Wrestling, saying, “Thanks @smashwrestling for hosting my comeback match after a year & half! Next time, I won’t be coming solo ♥️.”
