On the 19th of September, WWE made a move to secure a fresh trademark for “Harlem Lewis” with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The trademark is intended for a stage name in the realm of entertainment services which include wrestling shows and performances by professional wrestlers.
Initially, there was a cloud of mystery surrounding the identity of the superstar, however, it was later disclosed that the new moniker belongs to Vincent Winey. Prior to his stint with the WWE, Winey was a significant figure on the football field, playing as a linebacker for the Morehead State Eagles Football team in the NCAA Division 1 league. Winey has been part of the NXT live events circuit, though he has yet to record a win.
Winey’s latest appearance was in an eight-man tag team match at a Fort Pierce house show on the 23rd of August and he’s currently romantically linked with fellow NXT superstar Cora Jade.
During the recent NXT Level Up tapings on Tuesday, Winey assumed the stage name Harlem Lewis. Unfortunately, he was defeated by Dante Chen.
