WWE Hall of Famer Charles Wright hopes he can say sorry to Stevie Richards over how the latter was dealt with throughout their time collaborating.

Wright, who worked as Papa Shango and Kama, is maybe best understood for his time as The Godfather throughout the Attitude Era.

In 2000, Wright ended up being ‘‘ The Goodfather’as part of Right to Censor, a pro-censorship faction led by Richards which parodied WWF’s legal fight with the Parents Television Council.

Talking to The Universal Wrestling Podcast, Wright was inquired about dealing with Richards.

“One day I’m going to ask forgiveness to him for the manner in which I treated him when I see him. Since I kind of blamed him for me ending up being The Goodfather when it was not his fault at all, I was kind of a bully to him. I could not blame Vince, however I was kind of a d ** k head to him.”

Wright won the WWE Tag Team Championship in the RTC, he has actually mentioned in interviews that his time in the group was the only time in wrestling he didn’t enjoy what he was doing.

After the RTC split in 2001 (following Vince McMahon’s success over the PTC) Wright would revert back to being The Godfather at the 2002 Royal Rumble.
