During his guesting on the “Insight with Chris Van Vliet” podcast, WWE’s own Grayson Waller spoke about his distaste for being cast as a babyface in the wrestling world.

Below are some notable parts of his conversation:

In Grayson’s words concerning his dislike for the babyface persona: “What I dislike about being a babyface is, quite honestly, I feel that many of these babyfaces currently must feign their adoration for the fans. And, to be frank, I can’t stand the fans. Wrestling fans are, in my opinion, the worst fans globally, excluding those that intend to simply enjoy a good time on a Friday with their families. That’s absolutely fine. However, these flip-flop online fans, these so-called experts who believe they understand wrestling, are simply the worst.”

On how he sympathizes with babyfaces: “It makes me feel sorry for the protagonists who have to act as if they like these individuals, offer them hugs, and sign their items at airports in the wee hours of the morning. I can avoid this situation. Thus, my primary motive is not wanting to play a babyface, primarily because I don’t want to feign affection for these individuals. Quite frankly, I can’t stand them.”
