Beyond Wrestling has confirmed the indefinite suspension of its executive producer, Jon Roy, for his usage of inappropriate language. The announcement was made by Drew Cordeiro from Beyond Wrestling on Twitter.

Cordeiro wrote, “Effective immediately I have indefinitely suspended our executive producer Jon Roy. Our code of conduct states derogatory language will not be tolerated. I’ll address this further when my schedule allows. -Drew.”

This comes after Roy recently made an offensive comment about a transgender woman calling her an “ugly bald guy in a dress” on Twitter. Following this incident, Roy claimed on Twitter that he was fired and said, “I got fired, so I’m sure all 8 people that got mad at me are still going to support their local favorites because I won’t be there.” Following these events, he deleted his Twitter account.

In other wrestling news, Bull Nakano of the all-women’s Sukeban promotion spoke with Sports Illustrated about her role as the commissioner of the company. She expressed her excitement for the company’s acknowledgment of the past, present, and future of Japanese culture in the ring. Bull Nakano also exclaimed her pride for the Sukeban roster and her appreciation for all the wrestlers for their talent and future potential.
