TNA Wrestling has witnessed considerable alterations in its organizational framework, mostly driven by the exit of key staff members. Even with these internal modifications, the partnership between TNA Wrestling and WWE is forging ahead successfully.

Anthem Sports Group’s Chief Revenue Officer Rob Kligman, in a fresh conversation with EssentiallySports, spoke about TNA’s initiatives to secure a superior distribution deal. Drawing from his vast experience at WWE, where he held the position of Vice President of Global Digital & Integrated Sponsorship Sales, Kligman foregrounded distribution as the key factor differentiating WWE and TNA. He articulated,

“We both (WWE & TNA) have historical realms behind each brand. The brands both can speak for themselves and stand for themselves. Right now, the difference really is the distribution mechanism that WWE uses to push their content out versus what TNA does… The production is the same quality, and the content is the same quality. The difference is the distribution. So that’s one of the big reasons why I came on board was to help the distribution… It’s simply distribution… once we get that distribution deal, I think you’re gonna see a little bit more of an even keel between both organizations.”

Concerning the possibility of WWE and TNA Wrestling jointly conducting events during WrestleMania weekend, Kligman admitted that he was not privy to specific details, but found the concept appealing. He envisioned a scenario where TNA Wrestling and WWE events could be organized simultaneously over the same weekend, extending ample opportunities for fans to interact with both promotions. He added,

“That I don’t know yet (if TNA & WWE will collaborate over WrestleMania weekend)… I think there’s an opportunity for potentially maybe doing events in the same weekend… You just never know. But, obviously, WrestleMania is the ultimate… I think the opportunity that could exist to be part of WrestleMania would be an ultimate goal.”
