WWE WrestleMania 41 has been granted a million sponsorship by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). The global wrestling event, due to attract upwards of 180,000 spectators, is on the books for next year.
This marquee WWE pay-per-view spectacle will take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, scheduled for April 19 and 20. A recent feature by broadcast station ‘8 News Now’ reaffirmed the LVCVA’s decision to allocate the hefty sponsorship to WWE for hosting the event.
Speaking about the announcement, Lisa Motley, the Vice President of sports and special events at the LVCVA mentioned,
“The timing of the event is during the Easter weekend, usually a period of slowed activities for Las Vegas. However, we predict that over 180,000 wrestling enthusiasts will account for 144,000 extra room bookings throughout the duration of the event.”
For WrestleMania 41, WWE World is set to return, with the Las Vegas Convention Center as the venue. Concurrently, Smackdown and RAW are expected to entertain audiences at the MGM Resorts.
