The former AEW wrestler known as The Bunny has recently shared insights and experiences from her time with the company during a virtual signing in “Captain’s Corner.”
Reflecting on her journey with All Elite Wrestling, she praised the backstage crew and reminisced about the relationships she formed during her tenure. Some key moments from the virtual signing are as follows:
Discussing her stint with the company, she said, “It was incredibly fulfilling to join the company immediately after my exit from TNA. It wasn’t even a month after leaving TNA when I got the call and was signed with AEW. I’m likely one of the first few female wrestlers that the company signed. It was a great experience to work with the crew that I had previously worked with at TNA, it felt like going back home.”
The Bunny further said, “I had the pleasure of working with the Dark Order again and seeing their growth has been very special. Probably one of the most cherishing experiences has been my friendship with Penelope [Ford]. We became instant friends and have supported each other immensely. Apart from wrestling and traveling, the relationships you form mean so much, and I was fortunate to work with such great people.”
Commenting on the backstage crew at AEW, The Bunny couldn’t help but rave about their dedication. “Our team was incredibly supportive and I miss them the most. I forged a strong bond with Scorpio Sky. I feel grateful for getting an opportunity to meet and befriend such fantastic people.”
In another related appearance on the “That’s Wrestling!” podcast, Low Ki expressed that he wasn’t taken aback by AJ Styles’ successful journey in WWE. He stated: “His success does not surprise me at all. He has always maintained high-level performance in the ring due to his profound skill and tenacity. AJ has the integrity and the resolve to stand his ground, and that’s why he’s successful.”
Discussing a comparison between Styles’s WWE stint and his own, Low Ki added, “Our journeys are completely different. I never compromised on my skill sets, and his progression wasn’t astonishing but a reflection of changing times. He is more than capable of maintaining momentum and has proved it by winning the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Now that he is a world main event wrestler, relegating him to a sub-card would be a strategic blunder.”
In conclusion, The Bunny’s reflections on her time at AEW and Low Ki’s perspective on Styles’ journey in wrestling provide insightful views into the behind-the-scenes world of professional wrestling.
