Olympic Gold Medalist, Gable Steveson, is making the leap over to the NFL. In 2021, Steveson joined WWE with a contract and made appearances at several NXT live events and non-televised matches, better known as dark matches, at SmackDown TV tapings. Despite this, he only had one aired match, which resulted in a no-contest against Baron Corbin at an NXT pay-per-view event in the same year. He eventually parted ways with the company earlier this year.
In the latest development, it has been confirmed that the former professional WWE wrestler has reached an agreement with the Buffalo Bills. He is set to join the team through a standard three-year rookie contract and it is anticipated that his role will be on the defensive line.
