In an absolutely stunning turn of events, Jey Uso made his decision and turned on Roman Reigns on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
As Roman Reigns made his way to the ring, he demanded the Lexington, Kentucky, crowd to acknowledge him. Without delay, Jey Uso emerged onto the scene. Reigns informed the audience that they awaited Jey’s decision: would he stand with them or against them? Jey, pointing at Paul Heyman, confronted Reigns, declaring that it was a choice between him and Heyman.
Reigns, as the Tribal Chief, asserted his authority, claiming the right to choose his own adviser. He made it clear that Heyman served as his Wise Man, belonging exclusively to him and not to the Bloodline or Jey. Reigns acknowledged Jey’s preparation to assume the role of the next Tribal Chief and hold the fort but asserted that the time had not yet come. He shifted the blame to Jimmy, highlighting him as the problem rather than Heyman or himself.
Jimmy Uso swiftly entered the fray, countering Reigns by proclaiming that he was indeed the problem. Reigns retorted, detailing how he had elevated them to unprecedented heights within the WWE. He explained to Jey that one cannot simultaneously be the Tribal Chief and a twin. Reigns then directed his question to Heyman, inquiring who had opposed Jey being named the “right hand man.” Pointing directly at Jimmy, Heyman affirmed his response.
Jey, in disbelief, demanded confirmation of this revelation. A seemingly remorseful Jimmy admitted to the truth, prompting Jey to unleash his fury upon him. Jey passionately expressed his disappointment, expressing that he had anticipated such behavior from Roman, not his own brother. He revealed that he had strived to keep pace with Jimmy, who had been the popular one, the player of the year, and the expected achiever. Jey further noted that Jimmy’s injury had turned out to be a blessing in disguise, providing him with an opportunity to rise to the occasion, headlining pay-per-view events, all thanks to the guidance of the Tribal Chief.
With emotions running high, Jey made a decisive declaration, exclaiming, “So guess what… you’re out… And I’m out too!” Jey then unleashed a thunderous superkick on Reigns, leaving the crowd in awe. Paul Heyman rushed to check on Reigns, while Solo attempted to retaliate against the Usos, only to be met with a superkick from Jimmy. The Usos then delivered a double superkick to Solo. The Tribal Chief, now furious, fell victim to another double superkick from Jimmy and Jey, who stood tall as the show went off the air.
