According to Paul Heyman, there are still numerous chapters to be developed in The Bloodline’s narrative. Recently, he provided an update to his preceding assessment that they were in the ‘third inning.’
In the aftermath of WWE SummerSlam 2023, Heyman shared with journalists that story was merely at the “bottom of the third,” using a metaphor from baseball to signify there’s still a considerable journey ahead.
While making an appearance at the Fanatics Fest NYC, Heyman reviewed and expounded on his earlier statement, asserting that there’s an extensive storyline yet to unravel for The Bloodline. He remarked,
“There were individuals last year who criticized me for suggesting we were only in the third inning. They were quick to label Paul Heyman as an imbecile. However, I have an update. I fervently believe we’ve yet to reach the third inning.”
When queried about his noticeable absence from WWE, Heyman remained cryptic, saying, “No one can predict if or when the Sage will make a reappearance.”
Since Heyman’s initial prognoses, there have been significant plot twists. Roman Reigns was dethroned as the Undisputed WWE Universal Title holder, Solo Sikoa ascended as the new Tribal Chief, and Reigns has made a comeback as a babyface.
