Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode saw the first WWE appearance of The Motor City Machine Guns, who triumphed over giants A-Town Down Under and Los Garzas in a tag team bout.

In a recent installment of “Smackdown Lowdown,” the duo, comprised of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, reflected on their victorious WWE initiation.

Brief highlights from their conversation can be found below:

What Chris Sabin thinks about their debut: “It’s pretty unreal. I’d like to say it’s a dream come true, but it’s more than that. This is a goal fulfilled for us. Even though it took over 20 years, being just one game away from rising to WWE Tag Team Championships contendership? That’s genuinely absurd. Voicing it out loud appears to play tricks on my mind slightly.”

Alex Shelley’s thoughts on their upcoming match with #DIY: “While we address things one step at a time, #DIY is the exact reason we ventured into WWE. This is precisely why we wish to claim ourselves as the planet’s best tag team because we have managed to defeat the existent exceptional WWE Universe tag teams. Therefore, I ask for DIY’s understanding in advance, as they’re currently dealing with the would-be WWE Tag Team Champions.”

On the same episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns attempted to resolve disputes with Solo Sikoa, but was unsuccessful and endured an attack as a consequence.

SmackDown’s concluding segment presented Reigns in the ring, with Sikoa making an entrance shortly after.

Reigns brought up an assurance he had given his late father, that he would amend issues and tried to cheer up Sikoa but the latter was unsatisfied and strived to be acknowledged as The Tribal Chief.

In response, Reigns simply inquired, “Or what?” Sikoa’s counterarguments noted the unchanged Reigns, triggering the arrival of Toma Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, towing with them a defeated Jimmy Uso, who had been attacked by the group.

Despite fighting off The Bloodline and getting a hold of the ula fala, Sikoa surprised Reigns with a low blow just as he was about to adorn it.

Reigns was then subjected to an assault by The Bloodline, who gloated over their conquest as the show wrapped up.
