The Bella Twins, Nikki and Brie, hinted at a conceivable return to WWE during a recent episode of their radio show “The Nikki & Brie Show” on SiriusXM. The pair had previously shown interest in staging a comeback for another match or run and Nikki did have a short comeback to the wrestling ring during the women’s Royal Rumble contest this year.
The twins opened up about their wrestling aspirations during a chat with “Queen of the Ring” star, Emily Bett Rickards. You can listen to the podcast’s major points below:
Brie started by talking about her life and family, “We have two four-year-old boys who are 22 hours apart. That’s the kind of strange twin things we’ve done in our life. Also, I have a seven-year-old daughter, she’ll be eight in May.”
When Rickards commented that her daughter must be the elder one, Brie confirmed, “Yes, she is. She’s an old soul and so very girly and motherly. She is the easy one of my two kids. My son, on the other hand, is like managing three kids, he’s my wild boy.”
Talking about her brief wrestling comeback, Nikki shared, “I appeared in the recent Royal Rumble, and I was the 30th contestant. My son watches it repeatedly, hoping that maybe if he keeps watching, the result might change, and I’ll win.”
Brie added a hint of humor saying how her son thinks Nikki is so cool. “He doesn’t believe his mother used to wrestle too, even after telling him that I was her tag partner.”
Putting an end to their banter, Nikki proposed, “We gotta come back, Brie.” Brie agreed enthusiastically, saying “I know we do!” The return of the Bella Twins surely is a much-anticipated event for the WWE followers.
