The President of TKO, Mark Shapiro, has stated promisingly that bountiful sponsorship options are expected in the future for both UFC and WWE. He made these remarks while participating in the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference that took place this week.
Shapiro mentioned the advent of fresh sponsorship agreements intended for WWE, expressing the sentiment, “We’re just getting started — it is very early. The integration is still going. We’re one year in. Talk about being a baby.”
He expanded his perspective, saying, “So we [have] a lot of pressure on our teams, and we’re creative, and we’re going out on these pitches. I mean, Nick Khan [has been] getting on the road and going out [to] sell WWE.”
During the same event, Shapiro unveiled details about WWE’s plan to reduce the number of its live shows in 2025, he asserted, “What was 300 [events] last year will be roughly 250 this year. And next year, we’ll be close to 200.”
