On eWn, we’ve been keeping you updated on CM Punk’s ongoing efforts to revise his WWE contract that he signed upon his comeback to the organization in November 2023.
Punk, currently under a three-year agreement with WWE, has received an bid from the company for a more substantial contract.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that there’s a dialogue taking place between Punk and WWE about a broader contractual arrangement. The initial agreement was wrapped up with fairly prompt efficiency over just a few days.
The report holds, “It was foreseen from the beginning that this would transpire, and it’s not as if he’s attempting to renegotiate now because he’s involved in a trending program. This was a contingency expected to occur if conditions and timings were favorable.”
Punk’s primary three-year agreement is set to have him in WWE through until November 2026, except any extensions are given as a result of injuries sidelining him.
