During an interview with Justin Dhillon on TWC Show, Bryan Danielson opened up about his AEW contract, which is set to expire before the much-anticipated All In event at Wembley Stadium in the UK this August.
Formerly a full-time professional wrestler, Danielson had announced that his full-time career is drawing to a close later this year. Danielson, who became a member of the AEW family in 2021, stated,
“The principal remaining item on my wrestling to-do list is Wembley. My aspiration is to make it to Wembley. However, my contract is going to run out before the Wembley event. Still, I wish to make it to Wembley… I’m uncertain if I will, but a perfect way to wrap everything up would be to have my final match as a full-time wrestler at WrestleDream at the Tacoma Dome — that’s where we’re hosting — since that’s where I attended my first wrestling show. It was a WWF event featuring Ultimate Warrior versus Rick Rude in the main event, which also happened to be the first instance my sister ever saw a male derriere. To the very day he passed, my dad fondly reminisced about the moment Ultimate Warrior performed a sunset flip on Rick Rude, revealing Rude’s back and butt facing directly towards us. By pulling down his pants, we got a view of his rear, causing my sister’s cheeks to turn a bright shade of red as my dad roared with laughter.”
