The 78-year-old billionaire was not involved in the decision-making of Punk’s return as it was fully Triple H and Nick Khan’s call.

McMahon had previously rejected the idea of Punk returning to WWE back around the time the Voice Of The Voiceless was hired for the ‘WWE Backstage’ show. At the time, Fox had wanted Punk to appear on WWE SmackDown.

Punk is scheduled for tomorrow night’s episode of Monday Night RAW which was already planned without him. It is obvious that WWE will now rewrite the RAW script to fit Punk in.

CM Punk, one of the most iconic figures in professional wrestling, made a surprising return to WWE at the Survivor Series 2023 pay-per-view event. The event took place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL, which holds a special significance for Punk as it is his hometown.

Interestingly, Vince McMahon, the 78-year-old billionaire and chairman of WWE, was not involved in the decision to bring Punk back. According to reports from Fightful Select, Punk’s return was orchestrated by Triple H and Nick Khan, without any input from McMahon. This indicates a shift in power and decision-making within the company.

It is worth noting that McMahon had previously rejected the idea of Punk returning to WWE. This happened around the time when Punk was hired as an analyst for the ‘WWE Backstage’ show on Fox. At that time, Fox had expressed interest in having Punk appear on WWE SmackDown, but McMahon did not approve of the idea.

Now that Punk has returned, it poses an interesting challenge for WWE’s creative team. Punk is scheduled to appear on tomorrow night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, which was already planned without him. This means that the script for the show will have to be rewritten to accommodate Punk’s return and create a compelling storyline for him.

Punk’s return has generated a lot of excitement among wrestling fans. Known for his rebellious attitude and outspoken nature, Punk has always been a fan favorite. His departure from WWE in 2014 had left a void that many believed would never be filled. However, his return has reignited hope and anticipation for what he will bring to the table this time around.
