Post-match, Solo Sikoa approached Cody Rhodes from behind, instigating a confrontation. Immediately after that, The Bloodline launched an attack on Rhodes. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens emerged just in time to assist Rhodes.
Meanwhile, WWE has been actively brewing a rivalry between LA Knight and the reigning United States Champion, Logan Paul. Esteemed reporter Dave Meltzer outlined the current dynamics of these two feuds, set for SummerSlam, in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He stated:
